For employees, group health insurance can be attractive for various reasons. In some cases, employers absorb the full cost of the premium, which equates to healthcare benefits at no cost to the employee. Employees who have their own individual health insurance would also benefit from the added coverage.
Our group health insurance are fully customisable to your organisation’s needs. We offer both global coverage as well as local coverage for your employees’ health.
Each plan includes both in-patient and out-patient benefits, along with additional modules that you can opt for:
- In-patient and Out-patient Benefits: The in-patient and out-patient benefits are core components of our group plans. You will be able to customise your benefit limit and co-insurance options.
- Optional Benefits: You may also opt for additional modules such as dental and vision benefits, and maternity coverage.
We also cover GST for claims made under our plans.
Yes, your plans are customisable.
All our group health insurance plans include both in-patient and out-patient benefits, and the overall limits can be set by you (up to $1 million for Cigna Care Connect plans, and up to as charged limit for Cigna Prime plans, and ). You can also customise the extent of co-insurance you would want to offer your employees for their benefits.
Our group health insurance plans can cover your company so long as you have at least 2 employees.
This depends on your company's and employee's needs, in terms of their healthcare and medical coverage. Depending on your company, you may also want to consider the geographical coverage that your organisation may need. We'll be happy to design a plan that suits you.
Our group medical insurance plans are modular and customisable to cater to the medical coverage and employee healthcare needs of organisations of all sizes, starting from just two employees. Do contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to support you.
Our group health insurance plans have the option for worldwide coverage, depending on your company’s needs.
The Cigna Prime plan does not have any waiting period for your claims; while the Cigna Care Connect plan has a waiting period for certain services and treatments, such as for maternity coverage.
This policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you. For more information on the types of benefits that are covered under the scheme as well as the limits of the coverage, where applicable, please contact us or visit the General Insurance Association (GIA) or SDIC websites (www.gia.org.sg or www.sdic.org.sg)
